Can you handle a large volume of referral leads? If so, we have an immediate opportunity for a Financial Planner to work with a fast growing Private Wealth Management team that is part of one of the nation’s largest full-service investment firms. We are seeking a licensed candidate that holds a CFP and /or CPA designation and will be responsible for all aspects of managing and growing a book of financial planning clients.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Regularly open new account and gather assets through a large volume of referral lead flow; referrals are supplied
Conduct periodic update meetings and client fact finder meetings
Conduct in-depth analyses of client portfolios and provide financial planning services and technical coaching advice to clients in all areas, including estate planning, investment planning, retirement planning, education planning and insurance planning. Assist clients to execute their plan
Submitting and tracking process in database
Implement asset allocation strategies consistent with firm philosophy
Direct and oversee the data entry and plan production for client planning matters
Develop, manage and retain client relationships
Prepare financial plans for prospective clients
Function independently in the financial consultants’ absence and maintain all aspects of the business in accordance with all applicable policies and procedures
Job Requirements: (Knowledge/ Experience):
Minimum 3 years of industry experience
Experience in working directly with high net worth clients
Series 7 license and 65 or 66 license
CFP and /or CPA designation
Ability to operate within a team structure
Excellent organizational skills
Strong written, verbal, and inter-personal communication skills
Technical proficiency in developing customized financial plans
Resourceful with advanced problem solving ability
Ability to understand, and communicate complex estate and financial planning concepts based on a client’s situation
Authorized to work in the U S on a full time basis for any employer
