The Technical Training Coordinator assures that all employees comply with Safety, cGMP, and Environmental requirements and with the operational procedures contained in the training curriculum of the assigned area. Assures training in the assigned tasks have been delivered prior to execution. Acts in accordance to the principles expressed in Our Credo and the Quality Statement Policy in all negotiations and activities within and outside the company, and assures these are met. Supports the Consent Decree Work Plan activities as required. Maintains contact with managers and supervisors of the assigned areas to meet the training needs. Provides support and works in teams with the Human Resources, Safety and Environmental departments, among others, for the coordination of the required training. Creates, develops and updates the methods/ training curriculums for the assigned areas as per the job descriptions and departments' specifications. Ensures employees of the assigned areas have completed the minimum requirements of their training curriculum. Maintains updated files for the employees of the assigned areas. Performs regular audits to the ComplainceWire System to ensure the employees meet the requirements of their training curriculum. Writes and updates operational procedures for the area. Coordinates and offers trainings as required. Verifies the availability of the conference rooms and makes reservations accordingly. Ensures the preparation of the room effectively and in accordance with the training. Participates and provides support in regulatory audits. Works with special projects assigned by the supervisor. Support new hire orientations for regular, temporary and contracted employees if necessary. Prepare documents to be sent to the Validation Library following the records retention procedure.All McNeil employees are required to cultivate an environment of quality and compliance in their actions. A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Natural Sciences, Chemistry, Biology or in Education is required. At least two (2) years of experience working in a manufacturing, engineering or quality assurance area is required. Bilingual (English/Spanish-oral and written) is required. Must have knowledge of cGMPs, manufacturing areas and analytical ability. Computer literate, skills in basic math calculations is preffered. Must be available to travel in and outside of Puerto Rico. Availability to work extra hours and to respond to emergency calls that may require their presence at the plant outside the regular work hours is required. Able to support other departments and/or projects according to business needs. Physical requirements of the position includes; light work that requires minimum physical effort and in addition, it requires the ability to move, and visual and auditory discrimination; also requires moving objects by lifting, carrying or pulling.
