IAI is seeking a junior- to mid-level Business Development Analyst to support IAI’s business development activities. The position is located in the Washington DC Metro Area. Candidate's level of expertise will be taken into consideration.
Candidate may possess the following qualifications and/or experience:
Work experience in one or more of the primary elements of a proposal desired: technical volume (engineer, etc.), management volume (management experience), cost volume (accounting & finance experience, contracts experience, etc.)
Experience participating in proposal activities desired
Experience using business development search engines such as INPUT and FedBizOps desired
Experience reporting and managing cost accounts desired
Experience coordinating, negotiating, and finalizing Teaming Agreements (TAs) and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) desired
Require strong organizational skills, with demonstrated ability to organize information into a file structure allowing for rapid access to the correct files
Require demonstrated ability to multi-task across multiple managers; must be willing to work multiple projects and balance shifting priorities
Require ability to lead meetings/discussions with senior executives
Require ability to work independently as well as part of a team to achieve customer and company goals
Require strong communication and interpersonal skills
Require strong writing skills
Experience with desktop publishing highly desirable; MS Publisher
Must be familiar with MS Office Suite
Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint preferred
Knowledge of Shipley Proposal Development preferred
Willingness to stay in position for at least two years
Willingness to flex time over one month and occasionally work long hours and/or weekends
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or related discipline
Security Requirements: Active security TS clearance. Candidates meet eligibility requirements for a SCI.
