Pc/lan Analyst 2
Position is responsible for providing onsite and remote support to the 200+ customers specific to the Atlanta, GA Wells Fargo Insurance Services office. The position will also require helping provide remote assistance to 6000+ other employees throughout the country.
Support will include Windows OS and 3rd party application support, hardware support, site specific device support, mobile device support, and more. Technician will work directly with all employees ranging from mail room, customer service employees, up through high level office and regional management and must be comfortable communicating and maintaining appropriate business relationships with all levels of customer.
1+ years of experience in PC/LAN analysis.
-Familiar with imaging solutions like Ghost, Altiris, etc.
-Familiar with and able to help support portable devices (i.e. Blackberry, iPhone, iPad, 3G/4G Cellular Network Cards)
-Demonstrated knowledge of use and support for Microsoft Office 2003 and 2007 suites (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc)
-Experience supporting a variety of 3rd party and off-the-shelf applications in a Windows environment
-Experienced with installation, support, and troubleshooting of PC hardware and peripheral devices (Scanners, Printers, etc.)
-Ability to resolve problems deskside and remotely as required
-Customer Service Skills
-Ability to effectively multitask to help as many customers as possible
-Ability to resolve support requests with minimal direction
-Experience providing deskside support to large sites
-Demonstrated understanding of Windows XP OS and how it integrates with other applications
-Ability to keep accurate notes of all troubleshooting and resolution steps, documenting them for future use
-Be familiar with VPN technology and functionality
-Ability to setup, configure, and maintain own workstation
-Familiar with creating Knowledge Base articles to promote knowledge and information sharing
-Help create & enforce Desktop standards and policies
-Effectively manage and handle any assigned projects
-Experience with mid-level network connectivity troubleshooting (LAN, Wi-Fi, Cellular, etc.)
-Familiarity with Windows OS Registry
-Ability to manage relationships with business individuals and teams
-Experience supporting large-scale remote environments
-Ability to accurately type at least 30 WPM
