As in intern in Workplace Investing organization, you will gain a broad overview of benefit outsourcing. You will be exposed to various internal systems and processes that support pension and health and welfare administration. In addition, you will have the opportunity to interact with many different groups within Fidelity and will be key contributors to the team environment and overall effective services provided to Fidelity’s client base.

Primary Responsibilities

·

Participate on special departmental projects

·

Research and resolve participant issues

·

Process low/medium types of calculations, meeting timeliness and accuracy standards

·

Interpret plan rules to ensure compliance with plan document

·

Analyze transactions to ensure proper quality standards as required by each specific business unit

·

Help in our literature process, write letters and assist in flow of Pension literature through system approval

·

Run team meetings

·

Assign work to team members

·

Organize team building activities

·

Organize a community outreach event

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Education preferably in Mathematics, Finance or Business or equivalent work experience

Skills and Knowledge

·

Strong math, analytical and intuitive skills

·

Motivated and committed to excellence; positive attitude and “can do” work ethic

·

Ability to work as a team player, and meet individual timeliness and accuracy goals

·

Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment

·

Proven organizational skills and attention to detail

·

High integrity and discretion to ensure the confidentiality of sensitive client data

·

Demonstrated initiative in solving problems and implementing solutions

·

Ability to work independently

·

Strong PC Software skills (i.e. Excel, Outlook and Word)

·

Robust communications skills
