Under general supervision, implement stewardship, cultivation and fundraising activities intended to grow and deepen donor relationships with the Mondavi Center. Provide concierge ticketing services to significant annual donors; manage solicitation and cultivation related to Licensed Seat Program.

Identify, cultivate and solicit donations from portfolio of ~300 donors with giving potential of $600-$3,000. Act as backup in planning and execution of stewardship events.

Physical Demands:
Lift event-related materials weighing up to 25 lbs.

Work Environment:
CA driver's license required to visit local donors and sponsors without accompaniment.

Work flexible schedule and occasional overtime including frequent evenings, weekends and holidays to meet operational needs.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge of fundraising principles, practices and trends in a non-profit or University environment.

Experience applying fundraising, donor relations and stewardship concepts, and in donation solicitation within context of annual giving cycle and specialized individual goals..

Experience researching, prioritizing, managing, cultivating and stewarding prospects.

Experience planning, coordinating, implementing and managing special events in a large non-profit setting.

Knowledge of acceptable budget practices. Experience preparing budgets, budget reports/forecast projections and reconciling expenses.

Experience utilizing the Internet, word processing, spreadsheet, data management, electronic financial systems and other software programs to complete professional assignments.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience performing data mining and statistical analysis; and distilling results of these activities and presenting related recommendations for action.

Time management skills to manage, track, and work on multiple complex tasks.

Interpersonal and communications skills.

Experience assigning and reviewing work completed by student assistants and interns.

Skills to develop creative solutions to general problems, attempt unfamiliar projects/assignments, and respond with flexibility to requests for assistance.
