Position Summary

The qualified individual will be responsible for working with the Regional Account Vice President to market, qualify opportunities, coordinate implementation and deployment of new products, provide stellar service to existing business partners, and manage new and existing client base to maximize growth, profitability and retention within assigned territory for Credit Unions and Community Banks.

Essential Duties

Manages new and existing account relationships to include new product implementations from beginning to end by coordinating the implementation processes, providing on-site product training, assisting in answering technical questions on product installation, operation, and problem resolution to ensure efficient and timely product installations, client satisfaction, and client retention.

Identifies and qualifies sales opportunities by maintaining favorable contacts with key accounts and personnel to include providing on-site detailed product knowledge, and recognizing and acting on program changes and ancillary products and services opportunities to maximize product penetration.

Retain and service existing business, while assessing the opportunity to provide additional solutions that will expand the degree of the client relationship.

Build multiple relationships within each account to strengthen SWBC’s brand name

Provides subject matter expertise in the development of solutions on existing and new product implementations by meeting and collaborating with various SWBC departments.

Assists in meeting company growth and financial profitability objectives and strategic plans by performing and reporting on various assigned departmental activities.

Attends industry conferences, chapter meetings, seminars, tradeshows, and public relations events to keep SWBC in the forefront and maintain SWBC’s positive image and reputation.

Minimum Requirements

Must have at least two (2) years in sales and/or service in the banking or insurance industry or related experience.

Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Management, General Business, related field, or equivalent experience.

Must acquire a Property &Casualty and Life & Health Insurance license within the first three months of hire.

Must have excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access.

Must have a thorough understanding of Internet concepts and principals, both from an application and technology perspective.

Must have a strong knowledge of financial institution lending and service operations.

Must have strong planning, project management, analytical, and quantitative skills.

Must be able to work independently and exercise sound judgment under minimal supervision in a remote work environment.

Must have the ability to coach, mentor and train both internal and external resources in assigned products.

Must be able to travel locally, regionally and nationally by car and airplane.

Must be able lift and/or push carts carrying 10-20lbs of training materials or audio/video equipment and stand for long periods of time while conducting presentations and/or training.

This is a home-based position.
