Dassault Systemes SIMULIA Corp., the world's leading provider of software and services for advanced finite element analysis currently has an exciting opportunity available for an energetic, professional HR Manager to provide broad-based strategic and operational HR generalist support and partnership to the Worldwide Field Operations and Finance organizations. This position reports to the VP HR.
The HR Manager will provide human resources support to managers and employees in all HR areas such as organizational and workforce planning, talent and performance management, training and professional development, succession planning, recruitment, compensation matters, and employee relations. In addition, the HR Manager will serve as a Business Partner to senior management by understanding the dynamics of the business and providing expert insight into people and organizational issues to help drive organizational effectiveness to meet business objectives.
Additional responsibilities include:
Directly provide advice and consultation to managers and employees on a variety of routine as well as complex employee relations issues.
Oversee the performance improvement process and ensure corporate employment policies and procedures are consistently and equitably applied. Consult with legal as appropriate.
Deliver HR initiatives and programs to client groups through Partnerships with functional HR specialists (recruitment, immigration, compensation, benefits, training, etc.) and ensure client satisfaction with HR functional support. Liaise with HR functional specialists and HR Shared Services teams to assist with program development and implementation.
Develop and maintain close partnerships within the Brand HR and Worldwide Regional HR teams as well as Corporate HR to successfully execute corporate initiatives.
Oversee HR data and timely data processing for client groups including job requisitions, new hires, transfers, promotions, compensation changes, LOA, and terminations.
Assists HR Manager responsible for coordination of professional development activities.
Compile HR metrics and reports and other significant data as needed.
A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5-7 years progressive HR Generalist experience required (additional HR certifications from a recognized professional affiliation are desirable). Relevant experience in an engineering or technology organization is preferred. Working knowledge of aspects of international HR desired. Experience in leading and managing organizational change. Ability to manage peer relationships for the successful implementation of all HR services. Proficiency in employee relations issue management.
Requires approximately 10-15% domestic and international travel.
