Provides organization, coordination, and support for ACS PR Division’s signature program volunteers and community resources for patients and caregivers..

Actively support ACS PR Division organizational direction and management decisions. Build winning teams through recruitment, development, empowerment, and guidance of volunteers. Communicate to all identified constituents in accordance with the PR Division-wide communication plan and guidelines. Communicate, clarify, and embody the mission, vision, and values of the organization. Create and foster a collaborative, supportive, integrated work environment, and develop and instill trust among the staff and volunteers in order to achieve annual and long-term goals and objectives. Establish personal credibility by being honest, forthright, consistent, and dependable. Expand American Cancer Society presence in all areas of assignment; research and develop new opportunities; and identify and assist in recruitment of volunteers in communities or populations lacking an ACS presence. Implement and manage various assessment tools and reports. Perform the priority activities as described by the current year’s performance management guidelines. This will include: individual goals and objectives, personal development and improvement, cultural objectives, and team success. Work with income development and cancer control staff and volunteers to develop and implement annual and long range plans in communities.

Position Requirements

Health related profession/knowledge.
Customer Service Oriented, Computer Literate, Siebel Software knowledge a plus.
Fully bilingual, excellent written and oral comunication skills, people oriented.
Knowledge or experience on the health field.
