Position Summary:
As an Account Manager with Gallagher Bassett (GB), you will manage, maintain and control assigned account base to include all aspects of account management, client services, renewal processing and collection of accounts receivable, including:
Manage, maintain and control assigned account base, including extensive interface with GB clients, insurance carriers and brokers, and internal contact with GB Claims Management, GB Sales & Marketing, AJG Sales and GB Information Services
Provide support to Brokerage Services Division and GB Producers regarding sales of GB Services
Participate in set-up meetings with client, producer, carrier and broker; coordinates meetings and claims audits and attends audits/audit wrap-up meetings
Develop Service Instructions for Field Operations
Partner with Claims Management to insure correct placement of claim servicing
Interface with appropriate parties to insure correct set-up of policy information, pyramid set-up, RISX-FACS7 reports, banking, etc.
Resolve services issues through appropriate channels, maintaining continuous communication with clients to insure that all service related issues are identified and resolved; keep clients informed of any relevant changes within division that might affect their program
Handle administrative/paperwork and participate in the renewal process
Handle miscellaneous projects as assigned
Participate in and support the GB Quality Program

Qualifications
Required:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
3 or more years client coordination and/or claims management experience
Ability to travel approximately 30 - 35% of time
Ability to effectively operate a computer, knowledge of MS Office applications
Desired:
Minimum of one year of experience with Gallagher Bassett Services (GB) or Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. is desired
Knowledge of risk management services
Work Traits:
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with demonstrated ability to conduct large group meetings
Ability to quickly determine critical issues
Confidence and ability to calmly handle crisis situations
