Job Description:
The HVAC Installer Apprentice is responsible for assisting with the installation of HVAC equipment in residential and commercial buildings. Ideal candidates will have some working knowledge of HVAC equipment and installation procedures.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Replace heating, air conditioning, or refrigeration equipment or complete systems.
Assist with the Installation of new duct systems.
Join pipes or tubing to the equipment and to the fuel, water, or refrigerant source to form complete circuits.
Obtain and maintain required certifications.
Help keep trucks clean and organized as well as cleaning site after equipment installations.
Comply with all applicable standards, policies and procedures, including safety procedures and the maintenance of a clean work area.
Ability to establish rapport with customers and effectively communicate information to them.
Ability to read and comply with company policies, procedures and all safety guidelines.
Ability to utilize common-sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
Job Requirements:
At least 1 – 2 years of HVAC field experience.
Valid Texas driver’s license.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to explain technical information to non-technical customers.
Work cooperatively within team settings and follow directions from Lead Installers.
Able to perform hands-on job assignment.

If the Candidate matches the position being posted an exam will be sent from the HR Administrator to assess the work skill-set. New Balance will review survey/exam and determine if live interview needs to be conducted.
HR Administrator sets up appointment between New Balance and Candidate.
