Garmin's International Trade Compliance team is looking for you. We're seeking an International Trade Compliance Administrator at our world headquarters in Olathe, KS.

In this role, you'll be responsible for providing administrative support to the department, including collecting, organizing, creating and maintaining import, export, and supply chain security files in accordance with ITC processess and procedures. You'll also collect and review daily broker tracking reports, and identify and communicate variances; and assist with internal inquiries regarding export documentation.

Other essential functions for this role include:
Prepare export documents

Enter, customs entry data into the ITC tracking database

Assist in the preparation of monthly reports

Assist with responses to inquiries from Customs Brokers and Freight Forwarders

Prepare and organize documentation and items needed for support of any presentations, upcoming meetings, negotiations, etc.

Assist Analyst(s) and Specialist(s) with export control screening

Due to the amount of resources and expense exhausted in training for this position, a minimum of one year from the start of this position will be required before an associate is eligible for a job transfer.


A High School Diploma or GED AND a minimum of one year clerical work experience is required for this role. Candidates must also demonstrate strong and effective verbal, written, and respectful interpersonal communication skills and proficiency using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and Outlook). A demonstrated ability to self-start, prioritize and multi-task in a flexible, fast paced, and challenging environment while prioritizing to meet deadlines is also a must. Qualified candidates will also be flexible, team-oriented, and possess a positive attitude..

Candidates with an Associates Degree in Business or a related field, International Trade Compliance experience, and/or previous customer service or customs software experience are preferred.
