Responsible for the management, analysis and reporting of data for a specific functional area. Designs and evaluates information reports, organizes data into usable information and prepares projections and targets from available data. Acts as an interface between system users and Information Resources. Assists other department employees with input/output problems and identification of processing problems and writes reports using ad hoc report writing tools. Assists with the development and implementation of systems.
Bachelor’s degree in computer applications and/or business-related field preferred.
Three years experience working with data and databases, with ability to retrieve, organize and present data using computer database applications or related software. Experience in a health-related environment preferred. Knowledge of and experience with the following software applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
Excellent organizational abilities, problem solving skills, and written and verbal communication skills. Ability to coordinate efforts with team members within and outside of own department. Knowledge of data-management software applications, query applications, report development and application development. Ability to systematically trouble shoot application problems and assist in resolution. Ability to maintain complete documentation of applications and application processes.
