Come join our Atom Product Development team as a Component Design Engineer (CDE). CDE's are responsible for the design and development of electronic components. This position will involve CPU and SOC development in next generation Intel Atom designs targeting the growing mobile computing markets. You initial assignment for the first year will be as a rotation engineer working in three or four different areas such as computer architecture, RTL development, physical design, design automation or pre-silicon or post-silicon verification. You will be part of an experienced team and will own a significant task and will be responsible for meeting customer schedule and quality requirements in a fast-paced and technically challenging environment.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates but not required. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
- Must have a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering , Computer Engineering, Computer Science
- Must have the unrestricted right to work in the US without requiring sponsorship at the BS level only
C++, C#, Perl or Tcl languages
- Internship with high tech company
- Experience or training in the following areas:
Unix or Linux
Verilog or VHDL
Synopsys tool suite (DC, ICC, Primetime)
Analog or digital circuit design
Design for test, debug and manufacturing
Modern super scalable microprocessor, graphics, wireless and PC chip-set architecture
