Adobe is collecting and reporting on the data that the online marketing ecosystem needs in order to optimize their advertising, conversion, and audiences. As we expand, the need to include 3rd party-collected data in our platform is critical. The Product Manager for 3rd Party Data Integrations is a product leader responsible for helping to expand the data we make available to our clients in the Online Marketing suite. You'll gather requirements, work with the 3rd party data providers, ensure execution in the product roadmap, and evangelize in the marketplace. The ideal candidate for this position possesses a balance of business and technical expertise, and is responsible for strategic vision and management of products or product line(s). The Product Manager works closely with constituents inside and outside the company including prospects, customers, development teams, consultants, senior management, client services teams and other product managers to develop and grow the product strategy. The ideal candidate will be a product evangelist with the ability to clearly discuss and communicate product value and benefits to our customers. Additionally, the Product Manager contributes to go-to-market plans and execution for assigned products or product lines.
Understanding and becoming the key customer advocate representing the value of Online Marketing Suite.
Evangelizing the integrated Online Marketing Suite vision throughout the organization
Identify new areas for product development by analyzing customer requirements, market trends and competitive gaps.
Champion and present opportunities to management for consideration.
Work with business units and other product managers to define the roadmap and strategic vision for the product line(s)
Analyze the marketplace, customers, prospects, and competitors to determine the right features to bring to market along with overall feature prioritization
Understand and evangelize the needs of the customer base and user community
Monitor progress of the product through the product development life cycle, identifying risks and opportunities, keeping senior management informed
Manage a group of product management professionals effectively to achieve corporate goals
Responsible for developing market requirements documents, including revenue models, channel strategy, and packaging
Evangelizing the Online Marketing Suite by presenting internally and externally, writing articles for publication, and working with the media and analysts.
First and foremost, the ideal candidate will be an entrepreneur, and will operate with a sense of urgency when it comes to solving client business problems.
Candidate will possess a high energy level which allows them to react to situations quickly and decisively, possessing self confidence to be assertive when taking a position, and will be able to make decisions confidently.
5+ years of software product management, product marketing, or a related function that demonstrates an ability to apply product knowledge to solve market needs.
Deep knowledge of online analytics, site optimization and targeting, and visitor acquisition solutions.
Background with Adobe's Omniture Online Marketing suite is a plus, but not necessary.
Experience working with 3rd party providers like Experian, Nielsen, and Alliant is a plus.
The ability to lead and inspire cross-functional groups
Experience and level of comfort presenting concepts to senior executives
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Proven track record of defining product requirements on schedule and shipping successful products.
B.S. or B.A. required, MBA preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
