License/Certification/Education: Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, but prefer an Associate’s Degree w/3-5 years experience preferred. Proven ability to interact in a professional manner with all levels of the organization via both verbal and written communication. The ideal candidate will possess 1-2 years, past HRIS experience. Must have some familarity with FMLA and STD. Strong administrative and computer skills required. Peoplesoft, EV5, ADP experience would be helpful. Experience with payroll processing is a plus. Must have good comprehension and problem solving skills. Time management and prioritizing is a must.

Job Description:
  • Acts as a HR Specialist at the front desk in busy regional HR department* Performs a wide variety of clerical/administrative functions in support of the Human Resources function. Processes all paperwork for applicants, new hires, and existing employees. Maintains all employee files and the HR filing system. Gains knowledge of department operations and procedures. Perform heavy data entry of all HR information into HRIS system. Receive and answer questions regarding various hr/employment related issues. Completes assigned reporting functions involving termination, hire and transfer data, and other information assigned. Oversees the human resource database. Ensures that system records are accurately recorded and cross-checked.
