We are somewhat obsessed with creating innovative technology solutions for hotels. We were the first software company to harness the cloud for our central reservation system (CRS), Synxis. That was a game changer back when the was cloud something you only found in the sky. Not willing to settle for the best CRS and distribution capability in the business, we subsequently delivered a world class digital agency specializing in the hospitality industry and then we decided to top it all off with a fantastic cloud based Property Management System (PMS), currently boasting the largest number of property installs on a web based PMS. We are obsessed with rapidly expanding and delivering relevant technology solutions to hoteliers across the world – currently 17000 hoteliers in over 170 countries (to be exact!). Our end game is comprehensive and we don’t intend to take our time about it!

The Sabre Hospitality Solutions Platform Architecture Team has an immediate opening for a passionate, senior level "hands on" Solutions Architect. This position will be part of a small, tightly-knit team dedicated to driving the architecture and guiding the implementation of core systems and technologies of the SHS Central Reservation Systems. Responsibilities will range from platform architecture strategy, overseeing service design, technology research and prototyping, documentation, code reviews, some coding, mentoring, etc.

Aside from obvious strong technical knowledge and experience, very strong communication and collaborative skills will be critical to succeed in this position. A demonstrated thirst/inclination/passion for technology is a must. While this role is not a developer, strong, proven development skills are required.
Qualifications
Required Skills:

6+ years .NET (C#)

4+ years’ experience with distributed architectures & messaging systems

OO design principals & patterns
·
WCF/Service design
·
SQL
·
Comfort working with remote teams
·
Comfort working independently
Desired Skills:

ORM technologies, preferably NHibernate

Spring.net or other dependency injection tools
·
Message brokers (MSMQ, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ)
·
Cloud platform experience (Azure, Amazon Web Services)

.net performance monitoring & tuning
