Assists in providing and maintaining a high level of patient satisfaction through diet explanations, and correction and adjustment of patient menus. Completes calorie counts, diet profile updates and other diet office responsibilities as needed. Prepares formulas for pediatric patients. Serves as a liaison between kitchen supervisors and clinical dietitians to enhance communication and improve patient satisfaction. Other tasks as assigned, including but not liimited to:
- Supports and assists diet office functions.
- Assists diet office staff in ensuring menu and diet office accuracy for all patients.
- Visits patients with diabetes, modified diets, food allergies, multiple food intolerances or preferences as well as those with appetite and intake problems as assigned.
Graduated from a 2 year program/degree of a nutrition program or enrolled in a third year of a 4 year nutrition education program/degree and 1 year of customer service related experience
