Development of project scope and execution approach.

Electrical, instrumentation and controls engineering and design of control system architecture.

Conduct and/or support safety, quality, and regulatory reviews (eg. HAZOP. code review, environmental review) as required by the nature of the project/process.

Development of project cost estimate with level of detail and accuracy according to project phase.

Project budget and cash-flow management.

Development of project execution strategy and schedule with level of detail and accuracy according to project phase.

Manage and/or coordinate 3rd party contractors and suppliers involved in the project.

Monitor project progress and compile project reports.

Coordination interfaces to other engineering disciplines involved in the project.

Manage changes in scope and/or priorities during project execution.

Apply best practices related to project management, engineering and construction.

Utilize value engineering practices.

Assure safe and regulatory compliant project execution and operating condition at turn-over.

Provide start-up support to Operations.

Compile and provide project as-built documentation.

Supervise employees assigned to the project team

Drive and support continuous improvement related to safety, quality and cost

Support development of specifications, standards and codes

Work in interdisciplinary and intercultural teams

Represent company’s interests towards authorities, suppliers, and contractors.

Bachelor of Science degree (or higher level education) in the field of electrical engineering and/or instrumentation & controls.

6+ years of combined professional experience in the field of electrical engineering, instrumentation and controls.

3+ years of project management experience.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to perform and succeed in an environment of schedule and cost pressure.

Capability to professionally deal with changing priorities and requirements.

Thorough understanding of engineering principles and construction practices.

Thorough technical knowledge in the field of electrical engineering, instrumentation and controls including relevant regulations, standards, and codes.

Strong project management skill.

Leadership skills combined with team player attitude.

Objective judgment and fact based decision making approach.

Strong multi-tasking competency.

Ability and Willingness for domestic and international travel.
