Job Description

Hyperion DRM Managers are deployed to the Finance and Enterprise Performance Management Consulting organization. DRM Managers deliver and support the design and development of enterprise-wide Master data applications using Hyperion DRM. DRM Managers also design, develop, and support business process definition, work flows, functional design and technology enablement as part of financial Master data management focused on Hyperion EPM technologies. DRM Managers provide subject matter expertise in both leading business practices and application expertise to assist in the designing, developing, and deployment of the DRM applications. Managers are expected to drive efforts throughout the full lifecycle of the project and provide supervising and coaching to Consultants and junior team members. They work closely with functional and technical client leads to advise on best practices and to define and implement the solution that best positions them to operate as high performance businesses.

This position requires a minimum of 80% travel.

Responsibilities may include:
The Oracle Hyperion DRM Manager is responsible for and shows a demonstrated expert level of technical and functional proficiency in the design and development of enterprise-wide master data applications. Manage/Lead work efforts to design clients' finance master data process flows to improve the financial reporting accuracy and efficiency, integrate with the Hyperion EPM technologies/processes and provide one version of truth within the organization. Design, develop and architect master data solutions for client engagements, enforces master data leading practices, and designs data governance strategies for clients. Diagnose existing processes and data models, re-engineer, and implement leading practices, supported by Hyperion DRM. Manage/ lead Hyperion DRM implementation workstream (s) such as: Develop and manage detailed work plan, executive status reporting, cost analysis, and resource management for overall Project Coordinating activities to support clients through requirement gathering and process design, MDM leading practices and providing recommendations to manage master data for the EPM and in some cases ERP applications. Advising on technical designs and development best practices as a lead for the application component Manage/ develop the test plan and coordinate resources required to complete end-to-end testing as the Test Cycle Lead Manage/ define a training plan and coordinating resources to deliver application and process training as the Training Lead Manage engagement risk, project planning and budgeting, define deliverable content, and ensure buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client. Develop and maintain contact with decision makers at key clients, organize and lead pursuit teams, participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process for Hyperion DRM work. Facilitate application design sessions advising in areas such as application architecture, process and application alignment and optimization, report design and alignment to the most appropriate Hyperion reporting tool, and security design Configure Hyperion DRM application components (Hierarchies, Properties, Node types, Validations etc) within DRM. Assist with master data conversion and interfacing activities, including user support to load and reconcile data Prepare key deliverables such as requirement documents, design documents, development inventory, test documentation, training materials and administration/procedural guides Perform role of counselor and coach, provide input and guidance into the firm's staffing process, and actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities. Ability to meet travel requirements, up to 100% Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of master data analysis, design, implementation, and support of master data management applications and familiarity with EPM/BI applications. Minimum 3 years, or equivalent of project management experience, as a Master Data Architect and Project Manager. Minimum of 3 years experience with Oracle-Hyperion Data Relationship Management (Hyperion-DRM/previously Hyperion MDM) Bachelor's degree Preferred Qualifications:
Has successfully designed, implemented, and/or participated in large-scale MDM/DRM and Enterprise Performance Management solutions. Familiarity with Oracle's Service Oriented Architecture and Business Process Execution Language (BPEL) Process Manager. Has experience designing BPEL based workflows for DRM applications. Has worked with managing hierarchies for Oracle EBS or PeopleSoft or SAP ERP applications. Has strong presentation and collaborative skills and can communicate all aspects of the job requirements, including the creation of formal documentation /deliverables. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills. Global Management Consulting experience
