Days and occasional evenings are spent interacting with clients in the home, school, and community setting implementing behavioral interventions set-up to accomplish goals as set-forth in the client’s treatment plan. Weekly interaction with the Master’s level clinician assigned to each client provides valuable feedback and supervision.

An Associate’s degree will also be accepted in a human service field when paired with three or more years of paid experience working with children or adolescents. A successful TSS can manage time well; has an intuitive sense of the “best” manner of interacting with clients; can function well as a team player; has a desire to build their skills through supervision and training; and builds relationships through effective communication.
