Duties: An excellent position for obtaining exposure to the myriad diagnoses prevalent in today’s adolescent and child consumers. Days and occasional evenings are spent interacting with clients in the home, school, and community setting implementing behavioral interventions set-up to accomplish goals as set-forth in the client’s treatment plan. Weekly interaction with the Master’s level clinician assigned to each client provides valuable feedback and supervision.
Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree in a human service related field (Psychology, Social Work, Education, Criminal Justice, etc), or a Bachelor’s degree in another field with one year of paid experience working with children or adolescents. An Associate’s degree will also be accepted in a human service field when paired with three or more years of paid experience working with children or adolescents. A successful TSS can manage time well; has an intuitive sense of the “best” manner of interacting with clients; can function well as a team player; has a desire to build their skills through supervision and training; and builds relationships through effective communication. This position requires a valid driver’s license with no restrictions. Philhaven’s Driving Policy requires a reasonably good driving record for the last three years.
