Vistage International, the world’s premier CEO leadership and education organization is looking for a SEM/SEO Specialist. As a Vistage SEM/SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for the daily overall management and success of our paid search campaigns. You will execute keyword research, campaign strategy & set-up, management, data analysis, reporting and ongoing campaign optimization. You will report to Vistages’s Director of Online Marketing and serve as a liaison between various departments in Vistage who utilize search. You will be expected to “own” the paid search projects in which you are involved.

Duties & Responsibilities:
The SEM/SEO Specialist duties & responsibilities will include:

  • Strategize to improve both paid and organic search traffic
  • Work with webmaster, IT and Social Media Coordinator to execute successful SEO optimizations
  • Conduct keyword research, PPC budget forecasting and recommend keyword selection for campaigns
  • Review/provide analysis on PPC landing pages
  • Write PPC advertising copy
  • Write SEO optimized web copy
  • Set up PPC campaigns in various search engine interfaces
  • Set up PPC ad tracking (presently in SalesForce and Google Analytics)
  • Run link building campaign with support from Social Media Coordinator, Webmaster and outside agencies
  • Monitor and manage AdWords campaign on a daily basis
  • Extract campaign data and generate client reports
  • Analyze campaign data to provide campaign optimization and recommendations/highlights to Director of Online Marketing
  • Manage and maintain daily/monthly PPC spends for multiple clients to ensure each campaigns meet the desired performance metrics
  • Secure Google AdWords Professional Certification, if not yet certified
  • Maintain PPC/SEO knowledge base through constant self-education
Required Skills:
  • Fluent knowledge of Google AdWords; experience with other search engine PPC management helpful
  • Thorough knowledge of tracking and web analytics software, such as Google Analytics
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word & Excel; familiarity with Microsoft Access helpful
  • Good understanding of current SEO best practices and willingness to maintain top tier knowledge in SEO and SEM
  • PPC/SEO copywriting & copy editing skills
  • Must demonstrate a problem-solver mentality; ability to anticipate and think critically; always seeking to improve oneself or internal systems & processes
  • Organizational – ability to handle multiple responsibilities at one time yet still get assignments completed in a timely basis
  • Strong Follow-Up Skills – follow-up may entail contacting both staff and clients
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills
