What you’ll do
Meet or exceed monthly sales goals
Respond to and qualify inbound leads
Manage a pipeline of inbound sales leads through the sales cycle from beginning to end
Capture accurate and complete lead and customer information in Salesforce.com
Be a SendGrid subject matter expert; consultative selling - must really like and enjoy technology and selling technology
Determine what messaging/key points resonates for different types of customers and adapt the sales "pitch" accordingly
As someone interacting with leads and customers constantly, identify trends in product requests and feed that info back to engineering as well as identify larger trends and feed that back to management
Fully understand the use case of our customers
Fully understand the competitive landscape and how/where SendGrid fits
2+ years of inside sales, with a track record of progression and results
Ambitious and seeks a challenging work environment
Possess the desire to contribute to the growth of a company that is changing an industry.
Online / SaaS / Cloud industry knowledge
