Primary Purpose

Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia is seeking an Administrative Assistant for our Retail Merchandising team. This individual will provide administrative support to our EVP of Merchandising and EVP of Licensing. The qualified candidate should be highly organized, have great attention to detail, and thrive at working in a fast-paced environment.


  • Maintain and coordinate calendars
  • Schedule meetings and conference calls with internal and external attendees
  • Answer phones
  • Schedule and book travel arrangements (domestic and international)
  • Act as a daily liaison with the Executive Office
  • Prepare expense reports
  • Maintain filing system and contact lists
  • Type memos, letters, agendas, and other correspondence
  • Work with the Licensing group on various presentations as needed
  • Sort mail, correspondence, magazines, and trade publications
  • Assist with copying and filing

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be able to handle confidential information in an appropriate and professional manner
  • Highly Organized
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must have the ability to anticipate and be proactive, as schedules and priorities change
  • An interest in Retail Merchandising
