The Chief Technology Officer/Chief Architect (IS) is responsible for developing and maintaining our advanced technology services. These areas include analytics, data warehousing, software development, web services, systems integration and new technology assessment. The Chief Technology Officer/Chief Architect is fully responsible for the planning, organizing, controlling and directing activities and operations of the his/her Department in support of the overall business service functions. The Chief Technology Officer/Chief Architect is responsible for the organization, control, and management of the Information Services (IS) staff assigned to the IT group.

QUALIFICATIONS
BS/BA degree required, preferably in computer science, software engineering or other engineering discipline; Masters Degree preferred
Fifteen or more years of hands-on and management experience in technology operations and infrastructure management
Five or more years in a senior IS/IT management position
Deep knowledge of all facets of technology including; planning and operations for data warehousing, analytics platforms and tools, SOA/middleware platforms, software development, technology assessment, data use and management, Demonstrated track record of successfully managing a large IT environment at appropriate service levels and within budget constraints
Strong analytical and time management capabilities required; must have the ability to manage multiple complex projects at the same time, as well as the ability to stay focused on key business and operational deliverables
Must have a deep understanding of contemporary analytics data management and integration strategies, technologies and methodologies
Practical knowledge and experience with a structured systems lifecycle development and project management methodology. Must understand contemporary software development methodologies
Proven track record as a leader and as someone that can develop staff and a organization
Excellent skills in oral and written communications, leadership, supervision and interpersonal relationships.
Ability to develop productive working relationships with IS peers, clinicians, customers/end users, and especially senior business management
Attention to detail, the ability to organize and delegate tasks, and coordinate projects
Experience in budgeting and planning for large programs and projects
