Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as, but not limited to, Business Administration, Computer Technology, Engineering, Process Improvement disciplines or Medical Administration; combination of education and experience can be considered in lieu of a degree with an agreement to complete Bachelor’s degree within 12 months of hire. Black Belt or Green Belt highly desirable. 8 to 10 years of broad Informational Technology experience is required, demonstrating competence in the development of IT based solutions to a variety of operational and business needs.
Knowledge of Business management, IT trends within the Healthcare industry, technological solutions based on various business strategies, project management skills and Lean or Six Sigma process improvement methodologies.

Ensures solutions provided are conducive to helping businesses achieve their clinical outcomes goals
Ensures solutions are user friendly and efficient, especially when dealing with external facing applications
Ensures solutions provided are conducive to helping businesses achieve their customer loyalty goals
Serves as Customer Liaison by assisting in budget planning, process analysis and re-engineering, issue resolution and providing insight on IT strategic direction as well as providing customer education on technologies related to the business needs
Clearly communicates needs and strategy of business units to IT staff and ensures clear understanding of goals
Business Continuity Planning.
Understands current financial position and budget constraints of business unit and works to provide solutions that meet those constraints
Provides a preliminary and high-level cost/benefit analysis for proposed initiatives and projects
Provides input into short and long-term IT budget planning for business units based on desired strategy and goals
Understand business fully in order to align IT strategy to business objectives.
Proactively serves as a "trusted advisor", and is the primary point of contact from IT for business line executives, managers and key contacts and represents IT capabilities.
Provides highly-valued strategic consulting level support and guidance through key IT initiatives.
Serves a Project Management role in Business Case development, RFP development, technical evaluations, vendor contract review, product/system selection assistance and IT product research.
• Communicates decisions, priorities and relevant project information to appropriate levels of staff regarding business unit requests, projects and initiatives. Keeps the client consistently informed of a project's status.
• Provides support during the initial assessment of client requests, which includes a preliminary cost/benefit analysis and a review of the project's feasibility.
• May provide input in organizing IT service requests from highest to lowest priority.
Focuses on strategic initiatives and plans, proactive solutions, and execution of business changes through the use of technology
• Serves a lead role in enabling the business to achieve its objectives through the effective use of technology.
