Y&R/Red Fuse is looking for a Regional Sr Account Planner for the portfolio of brands including oral care, personal care and home care categories. Looking for a professional with experience in planning and strategy to bring consumer insights to strategic development of the North American region on this global account. Position is based in New York.
The Consumer Insights role calls for a strategic thinker who will impact the quality of Brand Campaign Ideas, ideas which will drive Integrated Marketing Communications programs, as they relate to the changing North American market. The Strategic Planner will successfully communicate the Brand vision and global strategic platform for the brand The position will be responsible for uncovering the marketing challenges faced across the North American region. Must have the ability to move beyond research to uncover relevant and differentiating target insights, craft provocative creative briefs that inspire executional freshness, and envision how the brand will be communicated across digital, broadcast, retail, social, etc. Finally, ability to assess impact of the campaigns and provide direction forward is critical.
Needs to be a collaborator in driving brand programs which are truly integrated on every level of consumer contact.
Thus the Strategic Planner needs to be familiar with current tools (both proprietary and industry/cultural) and their application in today’s integrated world, including digital and retail. Experience with more innovative forms of creative assessment would also be welcomed.
Candidates should have 4-6 years experience working in a full service advertising agency with digital experience either in-house or through partnerships. The ability to think globally is essential.
Strategic or Account Planning experience with integrated marketing communications. Experience with CPG (consumer package goods) is preferred. Must have experience with the quantitative side of measuring customer engagement. An understanding of how to excite and motivate across all departments, most importantly, creative. Strong communication and analytical skills a must
