Standards IPR Specialist - 702282 Description
Job description: The primary responsibility of this role is to contribute to standards intellectual property rights (IPR) policies in target standards setting and other industry organizations, supporting Intel principles and preferences. Participate in IPR committees and engage with trade associations and other companies to influence positions. Collect information on competitive landscape for Intel with respect to standards and IPR. Participate in development of Intel positions and strategies on standards IPR, working with others in Global Public Policy and Legal. Engage with academics and other experts to encourage development of research that supports Intel policy positions. Collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders is an essential part of this job.
Qualifications
Requires expertise in intellectual property law and strong knowledge of standards setting practices and policies. Outstanding communication and advocacy skills are required. Strong negotiation skills and ability to develop relationships and build alliances is essential. Requires experience working across organizations and with cross industry teams. 10+ years of relevant experience required.
