The Director, Sales – DLX Automotive has responsibility for selling Datalogix’ products to leading OEMs and ad agencies. You will leverage and build on Datalogix’ unique assets, capabilities and business relationships, which include an exclusive multi-year partnership with RL Polk, the leader in automotive data. In this role, you will report to the GM, DLX Automotive. You will have a competitive base salary, uncapped upside, and equity ownership. This role will be located in or near Detroit and will involve travel.
Primary responsibilities include:
Becoming an expert in and evangelist for Datalogix’ unique capabilities
Prioritizing existing and new opportunities across the Automotive landscape, delivering revenue goals for a set of clients
Selling solutions that deliver lasting value for our clients
Creating and managing client relationships through all stages of the sales funnel
Managing the coordination of an integrated go-to-market process, including indirect sales (through partners) and digital channel sales (through portals and agencies) and sales
Skills and Qualifications:
5+ years of delivering complex cutting-edge CRM and digital marketing solutions in the automotive industry
Strong network of automotive industry contacts at clients, agencies and other key industry players
Good knowledge of both CRM/database marketing and digital advertising landscape
A formal, disciplined sales methodology
Strong written, verbal and analytical skills
A consultative approach with ability to navigate through complex customer organizations and win over C-level/VP decision makers
A results-oriented, roll-up-the-sleeves approach with desire to do whatever it takes to exceed customer expectations and accomplish goals.
A proven track record of sales achievement in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment
Experience working remotely as part of a geographically-distributed sales team preferred
