The Senior Telecommunications/Network Analyst is responsible for design, configuration, & implementation of various network configurations in a complex enterprise network environment. Responsibilities include analysis, budgeting & network implementation of various complex multi-environment projects, provide instruction and/or documentation to other team members about network environments, provide primary support for large campus and data center environments, perform other duties as assigned.
Additional responsibilities include assisting junior level analysts with IP connectivity between hosts, troubleshooting data or voice quality issues, assist with vendor or internet connectivity for the corporate network, troubleshooting and/or provide disaster recovery for large campus and data center networks.
*Fluent with Cisco IOS devices and related products
*Fluent with Cisco ASA/FWSM/ASA-SM firewalls and related products
*Fluent with Cisco campus network infrastructure (Nexus, Catalyst 6500, ASR & 7600 routers)
*Strong knowledge of BGP & OSPF routing protocols as well as basic knowledge of other routing protocols
*Strong L2/L3 design & troubleshooting skills
*Strong organizational skills
*Knowledge of Network Design / Implementation
*Knowledge with Voice Over IP (VoIP) technologies, deployment & troubleshooting
*Knowledge with Quality of Service (QoS) and Network Optimization
*Knowledge of Cisco ACE load-balancing technology
*Knowledge of Cisco WiSM wireless technology & Cisco access points
*Ability to configure and troubleshoot MPLS WAN connections
*Ability to Configure and troubleshoot OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP routing protocols
*Ability to deploy and support WAN routers at remote locations
*Ability to work out of a ticketing system queue
*Ability to multi-task many projects at once
*Ethernet, ATM, Frame Relay, T1 and ISDN PRI WAN experience
*Experience in network packet captures and analysis
*Experience with Cisco GSS technology
*Experience with Cisco WAAS technology
*Excellent customer services skills
*Excellent communication skills
*Dependable and self-motivated
College degree in a Technical or related field and 3-5 years professional level experience with 0-1 year supervisory experience for roles with supervision; or 7+ years professional level related Technical experience with 0-1 year supervisory experience for roles with supervision; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related Technical experience required.
