Assists delivery driver and rides in a truck to deliver products and renders services. Collects money from customers and makes change by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assists driver in delivering furniture to customer's home or place of business and install as needed.
Drives company vehicle when necessary.
Create a positive company image by wearing uniform appropriately and grooming regularly.
Collects money from customers, makes change, and records transactions on customer receipt.
Writes customer order and instructions if needed.
Records delivery information on daily or delivery record.
Listens to and resolves service complaints, seeing the situation from all views.
Time orientated & efficient in work ethics.
Navigates for Driver using a map book.
Assists Driver in truck inspections as needed.
Other miscellaneous duties assigned by driver, delivery manager & service coordinators.
Loads truck if needed and assumes responsibility for inventory on the truck.
Issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery.
Cleans inside of truck.
Inspects product and does any needed touch up.
Deal appropriately with all customer issues and concerns.
Adheres to safe lifting techniques, follows proper training for learned job hazards and ergonomic risk factors, participates in departmental stretching program, and overall maintains a safe working environment.
Supervisory Duties and Responsibilities
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Need to be able to write routine reports and correspondence. Must be able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Demonstrate the ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in written format.
Education and/or Experience
Must have or be currently working towards a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), and one to three months related experience and/or training.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Mathematical aptitude to compute rate, ratio, percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
