The successful candidate will work in applying geotechnical engineering techniques, procedures, and principles on a variety of civil engineering projects including transportation, water, wastewater, and hazardous waste projects. Must have a solid understanding of soil mechanics, shallow and deep foundations, slope stability, earth structures, earth pressures, instrumentation, construction monitoring, and soils laboratory testing. |
Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering required. Position requires registration as an Engineer-in-Training, or ability to obtain an EIT within 18 months of hire. Knowledge of commonly used computer software (Word, Excel, AutoCAD) expected. Candidate must have excellent writing and communication skills.
