Coordinates and implements training events for staff. Develops instructional materials, lesson plans and other curriculum. Provides input into the development of annual facility training plans, calendars and other training documents. Provides in-service and academy training. Submits training and progress reports and provides feedback regarding staff training performance. Performs other duties as assigned. |

Characteristics of the Class :
Provides research, curriculum development and instruction in correctional security, treatment, legal issues, operations, health and safety areas; and performs other duties as required.
Typical Working Conditions and Unique Physical Requirements :
Statewide travel will be required to provide conduct programs.
