SUMMARY
Reviews, analyzes and makes decisions on loans within assigned lending authority for an assigned product line (e.g., dealer loans) within the assigned geographic area; refers to appropriate level of authority as necessary. Analyzes loan applications, spreads and analyzes financial statements and income tax returns, obtains credit information and generates documentation supporting the credit decision. Communicates all authorizations, special conditions or declinations to dealer.

Ensures a quality loan portfolio. May cross sell bank products and services, as well as participate in business development activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Provides efficient and timely review of indirect loan requests consistent with established guidelines, policies and regulations.
Analyzes loan applications, obtains credit information necessary to reach a conclusion; approves or declines loan requests within scope of authority; recommends appropriated decisions on credit request in excess of individual lending authority.
Negotiates loan terms and pricing with Dealer.
Reviews all documentation for compliance with terms of loan, credit regulations/law and Bank policy.
Maintains a percentage of credit quality, override, delinquency, repossession and loan loss ratios consistent with Bank standards.
Provides consistent quality service to Dealers in an effort to acquire/retain banking relationships and increase utilization of bank products and services.
Maintains awareness of current trends and developments in the lending area for the assigned product line, and to applicable federal and state regulatory requirements.
May participate in business development activities to ensure the growth and retention of desired bank products and services.

Requirements: QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and/or equivalent job experience; and two years experience in indirect lending.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Interpersonal verbal and written communication skills are essential, as is a strong commitment to quality customer service. Good knowledge of products in assigned product line. Good credit analysis and accounting skills. Knowledge of bank operations, systems, policies and procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
EQUIPMENT
The ability to consistently work with personal computers throughout the day and associated software to include Windows, Excel, Word, E-mail, Internet/Intranet and Bank software. Typing skills to include ability of produce loan file documentation and memorandums.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference with ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
