Job Summary/Basic Function:
The Sheldon B. Lubar School of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee invites applications from an outstanding scholar for the Chaired position of Sheldon B. Lubar Professor. The Chaired professor’s primary responsibility will be to provide outstanding research and teaching leadership in the School as well as to cultivate and maintain effective linkages to the business community. As faculty, additional duties include guiding doctoral students and potentially lending advice to the newly established investment management program.
The qualified candidate will hold a Ph.D. in Finance or Economics. This candidate will possess an outstanding research record in finance and will further show evidence of teaching excellence.
Preference will be given to candidates who are recognized nationally and internationally for leadership in research, and have a wealth of experience in a specialty in the Finance field and in building relationships with the business community.
