A minimum of 3 years director level experience working in a sales/inventory revenue management environment. Ability to effectively develop and deploy hotel inventory and yield management strategies that support the overall Hotels revenue goals, as well as corporate revenue management initiatives. High comfort level working in hotel inventory management systems: IDS/GDS/CRS/PMS systems. Ability to communicate effectively across various management levels and with IDS/GDS/CRO partners and vendors. Strong written and verbal communications skills required. Ability to effectively manage a reservations team to meet and exceed goals and client service expectations. Signature Training experience preferred. Strong knowledge of budget and forecasting process. Knowledge of current economic conditions pertaining to, and its impact on, the travel and lodging industry (cause and effect relationship), with particular expertise on the managed asset’s local marketplace. Ability to effectively relate and communicate with internal customers and outside vendors, collect information and successfully resolve conflicts.
Area Director of Revenue Location: San Francisco - Hotel Kabuki # of openings: 1 Description We are actively searching for a Director of Revenue Management to support Hotel Kabuki, Hotel Tomo and Hotel Carlton in San Francisco. The role is primarily responsible for maximizing revenues and profit through rate and inventory management of all market segments. This individual will take an active role in pricing and distribution of the hotels across various channels of distribution to maximize their top line revenues and enhance market share. The position supports the hotels in meeting / exceeding budgeted Occupancy, ADR and Revenue goals. In addition to revenue management responsibilities, this individual is responsible for all aspects of rate / inventory control updates across various channels in a timely fashion. They will also provide high-level support for the operations of the reservations offices at the property-level.

The Director of Revenue Management will take an active role in Hotel’s pricing and distribution management of inventory across various channels to maximize top line revenues for multiple SF hotels. The position supports the hotels in meeting / exceeding budgeted Occupancy, ADR, Market Share and Revenue goals. The position will analyze trends in group and transient market segments to include occupancy, rates and strategic sales goals (including setting group ceilings and target rates along with the sales and catering team). The DRM will be responsible for managing and maintaining group and transient inventory controls, including daily review/implementation of room type inventory and rate controls. In addition to these core revenue management functions, this position is also responsible for managing and mentoring a team that includes hourly Reservationists and a Yield Manager, as well as driving the performance of any offsite call centers involving an outside vendor.
