The 24 bed Critical Care Unit makes up both the Intensive Care Unit and a Progressive Care Unit (step-down ICU). The Intensive Care Unit Nurse will join a dynamic and growing team serving the hospital's 12-bed Intensive Care Unit. The multi-purpose ICU serves critically ill, unstable patients including multisystem failure, cardiothoracic surgical, peripheral vascular and cardiac conditions.
In the ICU, Intensivist coverage is provided
24 hours a day
by VISICU, an electronic e-ICU, and additional coverage is provided by an onsite Intensivist. Our Nursing staff use all computer charting and state of the art equipment.
We are now offering a 0.9FTE, 36 hour-per-week weekend-only position. You work 3 12-hour shifts over the weekend and receive the the weekdays off! Plus, you will be compensated additionally for working exclusively on the weekend, which is a VERY attractive proposition!

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with minimum an Associate's Degree in Nursing.
A minimum of
2 year of current registered nurese acute care experience is required
Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse licensure
Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required within 1 year of hire
