This position will ensure that all Home Office network systems and devices are secured in compliance with information security and privacy mandates. The Sr. Security System Administrator serves as the technical expert in the area of network and system security. The Sr. System Administrator is responsible for the technical design, planning, implementation, and the highest level of performance tuning and recovery procedures for mission critical enterprise systems.

Be responsible for administering, maintaining, and monitoring security applications such as Firewalls appliances, antivirus applications, Web monitoring, forensics applications, and other security applications Experience (hosted or on-premise) in Servers, storage, desktop, and networking equipment; installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Blade Servers to include SAN storage running highly available virtual technologies (VMware, Hyper V, etc.) is essential Working knowledge of local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN), Internet, e-mail system, Wireless, and telecommunications devices Set security standards and security architecture designs Detect IT security violations and recommends corrective procedures Assure compliance of IT security policies and reports issues and statuses to IT Management Assure security compliance on applications, databases, networks, Servers, Active Directory, and wireless devices Perform vulnerability assessments, patch validations, and participates in security risk assessment on workstations, Servers, and wireless equipment, etc. Coordinate security incident response, root cause analysis, and logging security incidents Research, recommends and implements changes to procedures and systems to enhance system security Responsible for comprehensive log management and analysis Design corrective measures based on those analysis The successful applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise):
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related disciplines with 8+ years of related experience Minimum 6-8 years of network and server security experience Advanced knowledge of IT Security services involving networks, Servers, Firewalls, Active Directory, Databases, Internet, and general IT security principles CISSP is preferred In-depth experience with regulatory issues such as SOX and PCI Advanced knowledge of information security forensic analysis methodologies Working knowledge of local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN), Internet, e-mail systems, Wireless, and telecommunication devices Must have an understanding of the virtual server configuration and in-depth experience with Microsoft desktop and server operating systems MCSE is desired Experience (hosted or on-premise) in Servers, storage, desktop, and networking with install, configuration, and troubleshooting Blade Servers, SAN storage running highly available virtual technologies (VMware, Hyper V) is essential Knowledge of Incident Response Technologies Experience with centralized administration and automated roll-out of patch management, security/service pack updates, and other applications Exceptional written and oral communication skills Keen attention to detail and proven analytical and problem-solving abilities Exceptional customer service orientation Excellent problem solving/analytical skills and knowledge of analytical tools Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Experience with working in 24/7 environment Must be able to serve as an educator and internal resource for the Business Technology staff Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
