Under Armour is looking for a Retail Merchandising Rookie to assist in building the brand message and service the customer

What you’ll do as the Retail Merchandising Rookie:
Own Flagship Specialty Store merchandising coordination for key marketing and local events, holidays and special requests

Gather store- specific insights through observation sessions in market and on location

Identify and develop a calendar of key marketing programs, local events, holidays and other special requests to be supported in the flagship location

Coordinate with cross-functional partners to create event specific strategies

Establish process for partners to request special project merchandise and provide project specific performance feedback

Assist with additional tasks as needed

What UA is looking for in their Retail Merchandising Rookie:
High degree of verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to effectively and concisely present information at all levels

Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, ever-changing environment, and work as part of a team

Extensive knowledge of merchandising and a passion for product

Proven ability to think critically, problem solve, analyze needs, and offer solutions

Additional Skills and Experience:
Retail experience is a plus

Consumer segmentation and targeting

Internal client partnership-building with teams

Intellectual curiosity and ability to learn quickly

Strong presentation skills

Passion to win

Participation and leadership with campus organizations, clubs, athletics teams is a plus

Qualifications to be considered :
Must be currently enrolled in a full time academic program as a rising college senior, (completed his or her junior year in May 2013)

Suggested grade point average of 3.2 or above. The candidate must submit copies of his or her academic transcripts to be considered

Willingness and ability to relocate to Baltimore, Maryland during the duration of the internship, Tuesday, May 28, 2013 – Friday, August 9, 2013
