To provide food service to residents in an efficient manner and friendly manner. To comply with Kingston's policies and procedures and regulatory guidelines.
The tasks for the cook include the following: must be able to read and understand written and verbal instructiions. Must be able to speak, read and understand English. Must be able to cook for and serve sixty (60) meals. Must be able to lift thirty (30) pounds regularly. This is a physically demanding job and requires you to be able to walk, stoop, stand, bend, push, pull, stretch, lift, pivot, grasp and reach.
The tasks for the server include the following tasks: past experience as a server in a full service resturant preferred but not necessay. You must be able to prepare the dining room for meal service. Must be able to take resident orders, serve beverage and plated entree's organize duties to ensure meal servoce in a freindly and timely manner. Must keep the dining area, dining equipment and surface areas clean and santiized in compliance tieh the Departmet Policies and Procedures. Must handle and remove food service items in compliance with the Department Sanitation and Safety Policies and Procedures.
Less then one (1) year experience as a cook; will train for the serving portion of the job.
