This is a Cook position located in a residential group living situation on a Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center. As a Cook, prepares a variety of menu items including regular and special diet entrees and other items requiring complex techniques. Incumbent is responsible for handling and storing food in a clean and sanitary environment and controls stock levels of food and supplies. Operates specialized equipment to cook food in large quantities and to rapidly chill and store prepared items. Follows, and ensures compliance with directives and requirements for food handling, storage, and sanitation. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
