Oversees, plans and designs highly complex business processes and makes recommendations in order to improve and support business activities. Anticipates client needs and creates, recommends and implements solutions to meet needs.
Analyzes and documents client's highly complex business requirements and processes; constructs highly complex conceptual data and process models, including data dictionaries and volume estimates to communicate requirements. Presents information and implements solutions based upon feedback and analysis.
Reviews and approves complex test case scenarios for testing and/or monitoring the testing of business applications to verify that client requirements are incorporated into the system design. Revises and adjusts plans and plans developed by others based upon needs and circumstances.
Consults with clients on larger accounts to gather and document requirements and explore complex solutions.
Leads business analyst tasks on information technology projects and provides project team member guidance/support throughout the project life cycle. Provides work guidance and mentoring to less experienced personnel.
Participates and provides expertise in technical reviews and inspections to verify the implementation of 'intent of change' through the entire project.
Reviews time estimates for project related tasks. Identifies issues and recommends and implements solutions.
Develops and validates the architecture for highly complex business process domains to ensure alignment with the organization's technology priorities.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor's degree in business administration, information systems, or related field preferred
Twelve or more years of business processes and business analysis experience
Experience working with the interface of information technology with functional groups within an organization
Experience working with business processes and re-engineering
Experience working with computer programming concepts and coding languages
Experience working with the implementation of company value propositions
Six or more years of experience as a Business Analyst with experience in Systems Archtitecture and Governmance within Department Services, which supports the Systems department by providing architectural direction, oversight and governance for the internal operations of the Systems Department.
Five or more years of experience wiht ability to work at Department level, focusing on broad topics and holistic view
Five or more years of experience in Planning/Organizational skills with outstanding communications skills verbal and written, Coordination, Facilitation and colloboration.
Five or more years of experience to Develop architecture that can be leveraged to manage the Systems department
Five or more years of experience to document a roadmap for building/maturing architectural practices in support of the Systems department and would be required to Steward the maturation of the Systems Business Capability Model and develop workflows to enable leveraging Systems Enterprise Architecture to drive work.
A minimum of one year of experience working on-site at Client's Systems Deparment (preferrably on Systems projects as a BA) and the onsite experience has been within the last 3 years.
The canidate will be responsible for Facilitating the rigorous identification and documentation of business architecture by participating in a variety of activities to meet the department's and client's needs, including:
- Understands architecture standards established by Enterprise Architecture in order to align Systems architecture and produce quality artifacts
- Analyzing business and technical needs and translate these to architecture
- Coordinating and executing the transition and ongoing management ofarchitecture
- Provides support of architecture vision and direction, providing communication and education
- Understands and communicates current state and future state architecture
- Develop and transition business architecture to the execution efforts
- Engage appropriate audiences in the development/review of architecture including business partners, sponsors, system partners, and testing
