KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
  • Knowledge of system development methodologies (e.g., Systems Development Lifecycle, Agile, Waterfall, Iterative)

    • Knowledge of various programming languages, frameworks, and build automation technologies (e.g., Java (J2EE), JSP, Spring, PERL, XML, Maven, Ant).
  • Knowledge of debugging/troubleshooting tools and techniques used to asses build problems with large configuration driven applications.
  • Knowledge of basic algebraic principles to define equations and manipulate variables.

  • Knowledge of public pension systems.
  • Experience managing multiple application code branches executing tasks such as merging, branching, reverting changes, creating patches, fixing versioning issues using a version control system such as ClearCase or a comparable tool (Dimensions, SVN).
  • Experience with build/dependency management frameworks such as Ant and Maven
  • Knowledge and experience with Unix (Shell programming), Linux
  • Knowledge and experience with issue tracking systems (Quality Center, ClearCase)
  • Experience working on large projects managing and coordinating the build effort for multiple concurrent development branches with complex release schedules targeting a large number of environments
