Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Programmer/Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Where Technology and Teamwork come together... The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman''s Postal Services and Solutions group. This position will be working closely with USPS Information Technology professionals in creating and monitoring web-based forms and applications. The candidate will need to gather data and generate reports for Operations within the USPS enterprise.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Work with Postal personnel to identify and document business needs and objectives to maintain external-facing website.
  • Build and code applications and/or modules using languages such as: Adobe 9 and Adobe Lifecycle, Dreamweaver 8, ColdFusion, HTML, PHP, ASP, .NET, JavaScript, XML, XLST and CSS
  • Design graphical user interface (GUI) to meet the specific needs of users.
  • Prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
  • Build add-on modules using application program language
  • Create and modify web-based programs, supported by TeamSite Tool training.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot processes, create and modify reports, ad hoc queries, data scope and formatting.
  • Communicate project status and respond to technical questions from a multiple stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • 2 years of related experience
  • Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Designation
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
  • SharePoint Services, IBM''s WebSphere Portal and Interwoven''s TeamSite Tool
  • Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Designation
