Position Title: Therapeutic Day Treatment CoordinatorFLSA Classification: Exempt Position Reports to: Regional Director/ Clinical Director General Statement of Responsibilities: The TDT Coordinator, under the supervision of the Regional/Clinical Director, is responsible for the coordination of all activities related to the Therapeutic Day Treatment program in assigned schools. He/she provides clinical supervision to the TDT counselors. He/she is responsible for performing specialized tasks, i.e. liaison to the school staff, school leadership and external school administration. He/she will perform related duties as required.Position Duties: Supervising day treatment clinical work. Assessing day treatment admissions. Processing all emergencies. Supervising day treatment records. Providing weekly clinical supervision. Handling substitutions. Overseeing day to day operations of TDT sites. Reviewing all paperwork/MRT. Day Treatment counselor placements. Planning the summer school program. Training new staff. Providing crisis intervention as needed to clients and their families during school hours. Participating in treatment team meetings for clients. Providing regular clinical training to maintain clinical integrity. Processing payroll. Handling payroll questions. Authorizing leave requests. Writing employee evaluations. Interviewing, hiring and orientation of new staff. Facilitating bi-monthly staff meetings. Preparing necessary staff memos. Facilitating weekly meetings with school personnel. Communicating with referral sources. Facilitating conflict resolution with staff and school staff as needed. Supervising summer school operations. Acting as primary liaison with school administrators Required Qualifications: A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Social Work or a Human Services related field and license eligible. Commensurate level of experience in providing counseling services to youth and their families as well as supervisory experience. Demonstrated proficiency in supervisory and clinical skills. Proof of education and credentials will be required prior to employment
