Intel Labs Intern
The IXR Lab at Intel is looking for a candidate for an internship during summer 2013 in Santa Clara, CA, USA. The goal of the project is to develop sensing solutions and prototypes for context aware systems. Examples of several ongoing projects include wearable computing, activity recognition, location tracking and device personalization and recommendation.
Work includes the development and implementation of systems that can sense different aspects of the user and the environment and make sense of complex sets of data to determine user context, user intention, make recommendations and simplify user-device interaction. The ideal candidate should be comfortable in a fast-paced research environment where the set of problems and application areas change rapidly, who can create rapid prototypes, and is comfortable with practical applications and implementations of sensing systems.
