Member Duties : The Live-in Residential Advisor (RA) is responsible for the supervision, health, and safety of overnight students who are enrolled in the MeANS program on-campus. Member will support the student and their learning from the MeANS program and also be responsible for providing a recreational, social, and life skills curriculum for students. Program staff are caring adults who are enthusiastic, energetic, and skilled in a variety of areas; able to connect with a wide range of students from many different environments, and committed to the personal and academic advancement of the students. RA's will be trained to implement restorative justice model and will interface with the academic program on a daily basis as well as provide students with transportation to and from required appointments. Must enjoy teenagers, be a skilled communicator, and must have a good sense of humor. Member coordinates partnerships within the community for increased student involvement.
