The Radiation Oncology Department at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital is seeking an experienced clinical medical physicist with special emphasis in stereotactic radiosurgery. The position requires at least five years clinical experience working in Radiation Oncology and certification in the radiation therapy physics specialty (ABR or ABMP). This individual will manage medical physics services at Jefferson Hospital for Neuroscience (JHN), a facility on the Jefferson campus dedicated to the treatment of intracranial and extracranial neurological diseases. Equipment at JHN includes a dedicated BrainLab Novalis (to be upgraded to Novalis TX in 2011) with ExacTrac and HexaPOD robotic table, and an Elekta Gamma Knife 4C unit.
