Lead Portfolio Analyst responsible for managing regulatory compliance and portfolio quality on a $11B portfolio. Primary liaison with risk/business leaders, risk teams and customers to ensure customer retention, account performance and compliance with documentation and credit approvals. Position to mentor, train and develop junior portfolio analysts.
Test and evaluate regulatory compliance on assigned accounts including reporting and forecasting delinquency and losses.
Provide support to all phases of a transaction after financial closing including:
- Operations and financial monitoring
- Analyze requests for consents, waivers and amendments
- Complete quarterly and annual reviews
- Analyze financial statements, projections, and business plans
Participate in portfolio review for distressed accounts. Responsibilities include formulation and report-outs of strategy for recovery/restructuring and progress against such strategies.
Develop an audit sampling process to identify high-risk relationships and processes to review on a periodic basis. Routinely audit credit files to ensure data integrity, proper underwriting and compliance with company policies.
Develop strong customer relationships and identify opportunities for additional financing or re-financing.
Execute on special projects.
Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of experience (or a high school diploma/GED and a minimum of 8 years) in underwriting, portfolio management, or other related risk areas - or 7+ years of experience in similar progressive roles in the financial services industry
Experience performing financial statement analysis, financial modeling, and valuations
Experience preparing financial information, interpreting financial performance, assessing risk exposure, and recommending risk decision
Demonstrated ability to work with computerized systems - proficient with Microsoft Suite
MUST be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related
Public auditing experience
Experience demonstrating strong analytical skills
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment – as well as successful experiences working on cross-functional teams
Knowledge of various finance products and structures including: loans, leases, partnerships, and equity investments
Great attention to detail and highly accurate
Motivated individual with a strong work ethic demonstrated through individual and team commitments
Excellent communication skills-interpersonal, verbal, and written
