Dr. Rodney Levine has an opening for a postdoctoral fellow in his research group, located in the Laboratory of Biochemistry of The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI). The postdoctoral researcher will study the biochemistry and molecular biology of redox modifications of proteins. He currently focuses on understanding the physiological and pathological roles of oxidation and reduction of methionines in proteins. Please see his website for more information and references:

Candidates should have either an M.D. degree with research experience or a Ph.D. in a relevant field and a history of productivity as evidenced by prior publications. Training must have been completed within the past five years.

The successful candidate will be supported by an excellent intramural NIH fellowship in a stimulating and interactive research environment at NIH. Salary is commensurate with research experience and accomplishments, and health insurance is included.
